1st and 2nd Shift Maintenance Technicians Needed – Join Our Dynamic Team!
Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a new challenge? We are seeking talented and motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our team (1 opening on 1st shift, 1 opening on 2nd shift). In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a dedicated team to perform critical mechanical and electrical maintenance projects aimed at optimizing our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and actively participate in team efforts, promoting effective communication, training, and a strong work ethic across all levels.
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Apply your expertise in electronic and mechanical systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Production Technician Training: Provide hands-on training to production technicians, focusing on intermediate troubleshooting techniques and essential machinery knowledge.
- Safety-Focused Maintenance: Execute maintenance tasks with an unwavering focus on safety and efficiency, working in both high- and low-voltage environments.
- PLC Programming Expertise: Utilize your proficiency in PLC software programming and electrical hardwiring to optimize systems and equipment.
- Equipment Optimization: Maintain, repair, and enhance equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, ensuring peak performance at all times.
- On-Call Availability: Be ready to respond to after-hours maintenance calls when required, keeping operations running smoothly around the clock.
Education & Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics fields, or an Electrical Certificate.
Experience:
- At least two years of experience in a similar maintenance technician role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Required Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as proficiency with measurement tools.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with general machine shop tasks, including welding and working with high- and low-voltage systems.
- A solid focus on safety and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead team-building initiatives effectively.
