Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and facility operations within a manufacturing environment. This role performs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production operations.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in tight spaces and at elevated heights.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and automation systems
- Perform pump repair and maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform equipment adjustments and repairs
- Perform basic MIG and Stick welding tasks (preferred but not required)
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Respond to maintenance requests and production downtime issues
- Work safely in confined spaces, including crawling beneath equipment
- Access elevated areas up to 20 feet for lighting changes and electrical repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production and facility needs
Required
- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Automation and controls
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 20 feet
- MIG and/or Stick welding experience
- Pump repair experience
- Experience supporting production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Company provides required tools
- PPE Required: Safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
