Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in a manufacturing production environment
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production machinery
- Install, repair, and adjust equipment components to maintain optimal operation
- Support production line setups, changeovers, and startups
- Operate and maintain equipment for consistent and reliable performance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or potential failure and take corrective action
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and completed repairs
- Provide hands-on support to mechanics with fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting, and machining
- Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance projects
- Support troubleshooting efforts during unplanned downtime events
- Follow company safety policies, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and compliance standards
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools
- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment risks, and improvement opportunities
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician (or similar role) in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical skills; pneumatic system experience required
- Hydraulic and electrical experience preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and production processes
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, basic drawings, and work instructions
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Building Maintenance, or related field
- Technical certifications (HVAC, OSHA, PLC, or similar)
- $24–$27/hour (Dependent on Experience)
- Stable 3rd-shift manufacturing role
