We' re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a permanent, Direct Hire opportunity with our power technologies client in Welcome! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the execution of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation plans to exceed the business objectives. This role is fundamental in supporting and leading TPM implementation, productivity improvement, and loss elimination initiatives across the manufacturing site. Success is measured by the ability to actively engage the manufacturing site to achieve tangible results, and to educate teams in Waste Elimination and continuous improvement (CI) using (TPM) methodology. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of experience leading TPM implementation, and possess solid analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skills. Job Functions:
- Work with site leadership, site associates, outside vendors, and contractors to drive improvement in Safety, Quality, Production Efficiency, Costs, and Loss Reduction
- Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and Lean-Six Sigma capability tools to the site
- Responsible for supporting Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Kaizen Teams within the site
- Responsible for sharing best practices to drive results and capability development consistency
- Provide technical leadership to site leadership to effect improvements throughout manufacturing
- Lead team(s) to develop and maintain competencies at the site by coaching and mentoring to build capabilities
- Subject matter expert on TPM processes
- Provide overall support, assistance, direction, and communication to Management teams regarding TPM Initiatives
- Promote and support all safety objectives/requirements to ensure a safe and productive work environment is provided to all employees
- Perform other duties as assigned by Process Engineering Manager

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Engineering is preferred, suitable experience (5+ years in manufacturing engineering role with TPM experience) will be accepted
- Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
- Track record of leading process engineering teams that have shown demonstrated improvements in a manufacturing facility
- Demonstrated history of leading successful facility and equipment maintenance operations
- Lean or 6 Sigma certification
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers, partners, and suppliers, and to interact with all departments within the facility to effectively and collaboratively resolve any issues that arise
- At least 5-7 years of experience leading TPM implementation and continuous improvement projects required
- Proven track record leading technical resources to successfully maintain production line equipment
- Must be detail oriented, have strong mechanical aptitude, and be adaptable and self-driven
- Solid analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Self-starter and strong leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
