We are currently searching for Maintenance Technicians for our client, a local bakery company in Winston Salem! This is a permanent, Direct Hire opportunity with positions available on Day Shift (6: 00am-2: 30pm) and Evening Shift (6: 00pm-2: 30am) working 5-days per week with one day on the weekend. Overtime (5-10 hours) is anticipated each week. This position is primarily responsible for providing maintenance support to two manufacturing facilities including scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, installation, and set-up task on the equipment, machinery, and buildings as required. Responsibilities:
- Understand the operation of assigned equipment
- Perform repairs on equipment as needed
- Perform mechanical modification of production equipment
- Install new machines and processes for production
- Monitor, test, inspect and perform other assigned tasks in support of the maintenance program
- Respond to work request in a timely matter based on priority
- Fill in paperwork and maintenance logs
- Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action
- Follow the GMP rules of facility
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, general maintenance and repair skills
- At least 2-years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or equivalent educational experience in a maintenance capacity
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- HVAC experience is a plus
