We' re now hiring multiple Manufacturing Production Workers for our new client with locations in Advance and Mocksville, NC, the largest furniture manufacturer in the world! These are Temp-to-Hire opportunities offering a starting pay rate of pay rate $13.00 per hour and openings on all shifts. Overtime will be required as needed. These are entry-level positions and NO previous experience is required, but candidates must be able to work overtime hours when needed. Manufacturing Laborers will work with coaches/mentors, to learn the positions they' re assigned to, using air powered tools (staplers, Drills, Jigs etc) to assemble and upholster furniture. Candidates will use hand tools, adhesives, jigs, fabrics and other components to manufacture furniture. The ideal candidate will have good hand dexterity and a positive attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Once employees reach their required hours and meet client expectations, they will be hired on permanent, joining a production based team with the potential to earn up to $16.00 per hour! Responsibilities:
- Set up and properly utilize jigs to assemble component parts
- Inspect parts for defects, repair if possible and/or inform appropriate personnel of non-conforming parts
- Accurately record production information, using a scanner, computer or by hand
- Operate or assist in operating machines and various hand tools in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Inspect parts and assembled units, and touch up and repair defects
- Package finished unit by hand or with use of assisting devices
- Maintain and clean workstation, including jigs and equipment
- Identify equipment or hand tool malfunctions, and repair if possible or inform supervisor of problem
- Move parts in and out of work area using proper equipment
- Set up or adjust workstation to suit ergonomic needs
- Participate in team meetings and activities, and attend all scheduled training sessions
- Perform the job satisfactorily at a sustained level of productivity
- Follow all OSHA and company established safety rules and procedures
- Must comply with attendance policies and procedures
- Work effectively and communicate and relate well with others

Requirements:
- NO previous experience is required
- NO HSD/GED is required
- Must pass all pre-employment screening and testing per client requirements
- Must be able to work required overtime (additional hours during the week and some Saturdays)
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, hearing protection and Safety Glasses
- Ability to obtain appropriate equipment licensing for various pieces of equipment
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications
- Basic counting and math skills
- Ability to measure using English and Metric scales
- Ability to communicate and work well with others as part of a team
- Ability to learn the company' s basic computer system and operating the inventory scanning device
- Reliable, punctual, and perform duties in compliance with company policies
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching at or above shoulder level
- Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift
