Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join the Peeler Department on 2nd shift only. This role plays an important part in the automotive foam fabrication process and requires strong, stable work history and previous machine operation experience. Candidates with experience in manufacturing—especially chemical-related environments—are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day production within the automotive foam fabrication process
- Communicate regularly with the Peeler Operator to help meet production goals
- Properly label and package finished goods
- Ensure product is clean and free of dirt before packaging
- Manually transport finished goods to the designated shipping area
- Store finished goods in the correct location
- Maintain inventory control of baler wires
- Load scrapped foam onto conveyor equipment
- Move completed bales to the proper storage area
- Strong, consistent job history with long-term tenure in previous roles
- Ability to read, write, and follow detailed work instructions
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Basic language and mathematical skills
- Problem-solving ability, including defining issues, collecting data, and drawing conclusions
- Ability to enter data into a computer system
- Safety-focused and quality-driven work approach
- Previous machine operation experience required
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred
