Quality/Molding Operator 3rd Shift – Food Manufacturing Plant
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Shift: 9:45pm-6:15am
Join our team as a Quality/Molding Operator and help ensure the highest standards of product quality in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with food safety guidelines and supporting smooth production operations.
About the Role
As a Quality/Molding Operator, you will perform quality checks, test products, and record accurate results during production. You’ll work closely with the production team to resolve quality issues, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Essential Duties
- Inspect products and report any quality issues.
- Perform basic testing and accurately document results.
- Record measurements such as thickness, weight, and moisture.
- Document defects and complete corrective action forms.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow GMP rules.
- Support additional tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow SOPs and read basic instructions.
- Basic computer skills (Excel/Word).
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Work near machinery and around airborne particles.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Temperature range: 75–90°F.
