Job Description
We're now hiring Material Handlers for our client, a metal fabrication company located in Welcome, NC! These are a Temp-to-Hire opportunities with openings on 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm), and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Candidates will be responsible for movement of production material from one location/process to another. No previous manufacturing experience is required and candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. If you feel you would be a good fit for this position, apply today!
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Administrative and physical tasks in the stockroom, fabrication warehouse, paint and assembly areas
- Pick and pull materials using standard operating procedures
- Maintain inventory accuracy levels by proper use of inventory transactions and documentation
- Responsible for the issue of material and floor stock replenishment, cycle counts, material put away/pull
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- May serve as back up to other warehouse/production areas
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
