Job Description:
As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for building and assembling metal components for custom displays used in auto shows, trade shows, and museum exhibits. This is a hands-on role that includes MIG (mainly aluminum and steel) and some TIG welding, as well as a variety of metal fabrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG weld aluminum and steel components
- Perform TIG welding (a plus, but not required)
- Fabricate, layout, and assemble metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints (preferred but not required)
- Accurately use tape measures and layout tools
- Operate hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Prior experience in metal fabrication and welding (MIG required; TIG preferred)
- Ability to read tape measures and follow instructions
- Blueprint reading is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Must be a dependable, motivated team player
- Willingness and ability to work required overtime, especially during peak season
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
