Key Responsibilities
- Packaging & Labeling: Accurately package products with proper labeling, ensuring compliance with FIFO procedures.
- Inspection & Quality Assurance: Perform visual and functional inspections of molded parts to meet quality specifications.
- Material Handling: Assist with hopper material levels and line clearance activities. Operate industrial equipment like pallet jacks (forklift operation requires certification).
- Communication & Escalation: Proactively communicate production or quality concerns to the Supervisor and assist in resolving machine performance issues.
- Documentation: Complete production and scrap reports accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Train new operators, share knowledge, and participate in process improvements, ensuring safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including trash removal and cardboard disposal.
- Additional Tasks: Perform secondary operations, rework, and other duties as needed.
- Experience: 0–6 months of experience in production, quality assurance, or laboratory testing preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Proficiency in using computers and basic Microsoft Excel.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and responsibility.
