National Sales Executive

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy that drives revenue growth, market share, and overall profitability
- Develop a strong working knowledge of company business service offerings to show value to prospective clients
- Cultivate relationships with existing customers to introduce new offerings, grow revenue, and ensure we deliver on established sales goals
- Create a robust/continuous pipeline of client prospects, including monitoring state and federal bidding sites, industry associations, and networks
- Use online presence and tools to optimize lead generation opportunities
- Lead and execute smooth client onboarding experience & effective turnover to the service teams
- Understand and analyze key market and competitive trends and provide suggestions to leadership around pricing opportunities within the designated product suite
- Lead the RFI/RFP response process, ensuring complete, timely, and detailed submissions that best position offerings
- Establish a Sales Budget and a Sales Plan to achieve the budget
- Identify and qualify prospects through a variety of methods, including networking, telephone, email, digital platforms, and in-person meetings
- Connect with a range of stakeholders throughout the process, including procurement teams to upper management and C-Suite executives
- Represent the company in the community to enhance business relationships and increase brand awareness
- Provide a superior level of customer service and communications with clients
- Provide regular performance updates to division leads and VP on new and existing business
- Operate with an entrepreneurial spirit, matching a high drive for sales success with a passion for the history and products offered
- Performs other functions as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in delivering sales results and business growth; preferably across multiple verticals
- Strong executive presence and a high degree of experience presenting to and influencing senior and C-Suite executives
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies
- Ability to build rapport with clients/prospects through professional behavior, product knowledge, and your extensive network of contacts
- Must be deadline and detail-oriented
- Keep informed on industry trends, services, and competitor activities
- Success in innovating new and better ways to improve the overall business and our industry presence
Travel:
- Travel is expected for this position and includes overnight travel to visit clients, prospects, and attend trade shows
