Are you a dynamic, relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for the construction industry? We’re hiring an Outside Sales Representative to represent premium equipment brands for a respected and growing construction equipment dealer in Guilford County, NC. This is your chance to earn a competitive commission while selling and renting top-tier equipment to clients in a fast-paced, high-demand industry.
What You’ll Do
- Sell and rent a wide range of construction equipment, including:
- Compact Excavators, Skid Steers, Track Loaders (Takeuchi)
- Wheel Loaders, Articulated Dump Trucks (Develon)
- Articulated Loaders (Avant)
- Wood Chippers, Stump Grinders (Bandit)
- Spider Lifts (CMC)
- Actively grow your territory by managing existing accounts and developing new business through cold calls, referrals, job site visits, and company-provided leads
- Understand client needs and recommend equipment solutions based on site conditions and applications
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and building long-term customer relationships
- Enjoy schedule flexibility, with occasional in-office meetings and daily field visits (start your day on the job site – not in the office)
- Must live within 10–15 minutes of Guilford County
- Proven success in outside sales, preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or a related field
- Charismatic communicator with strong interpersonal skills and high energy
- Self-motivated “hunter” mindset – comfortable prospecting and closing new business
- Willingness to work in the field daily (7:00–7:30 AM start time through 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Company vehicle (take-home), laptop, and cell phone provided
