We are seeking a skilled professional to manage payroll processing, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide data-driven insights to enhance payroll operations. Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including data entry, payroll calculations, and timely disbursements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze payroll data, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance Management: Stay updated with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations (IRS guidelines, FLSA, etc.) to ensure full compliance.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate and maintain payroll reports, earnings statements, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation.
- Employee Support: Address payroll inquiries regarding deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings, providing clear and professional guidance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize payroll workflows and enhance system functionality for increased efficiency.
- System Support: Troubleshoot payroll system issues, provide technical support, and collaborate with IT or vendors as needed.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and assist in developing and enforcing payroll policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements (IRS, FLSA, etc.).
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex payroll data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
