We' re seeking Plumbers to join our client, a family-owned full service plumbing business, which has served the triad and surrounding areas for 80 years! These are permanent, Direct Hire opportunities offering an excellent salary range based on experience level. Candidates will work a 1st shift schedule, dispatched to calls throughout Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas, and must be available to be on-call for one week (once every six weeks). There are currently openings for both residential and commercial plumbers within the company, with commercial duties including rough-ins and installations for new construction or remodels, and residential duties including drain cleaning, faucets, toilets, water heaters, frozen pipes, gas lines, and water & sewer lines. Candidates who have recently completed relevant education training will be accepted, and be trained and developed on the job. Once hired, plumbers will ride along with a Senior Technician for the first 90 days, and will then receive their own work truck. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution and sanitary systems
- Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes and drainage systems
- Assemble fittings and valves for installation
- Modify the lengths of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems, analyze problems, and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair
- Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes
- Write reports documenting problems and summary of actions taken
- Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts

Qualifications:
- Previous residential or commercial plumbing experience, or educational training
- Candidates must be customer service oriented, and professional in dealing with customers
- Skilled problem solver, prompt and dependable, and willing to learn
- Ability to document all work performed on the job and account for any parts used
- Must have a valid driver' s license
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and testing
- Comfortable lifting 70+ pounds, and bending, squatting, twisting, turning, crawling as the job requires
