Pour Line Operator

This is a direct hire position — no temporary or contract work involved.

What You’ll Do:
  • Operate and monitor two polyurethane foam lines, ensuring smooth and efficient production
  • Set up machinery for each production run, following detailed instructions
  • Execute proper start-up and shut-down procedures within the foam line tunnel
  • Measure, record, and verify foam dimensions and generate accurate labels for all foam buns
  • React promptly to any defects or irregularities in the foam product
  • Safely operate a forklift to move scrap foam within the plant
  • Maintain TDI gas monitors to ensure a safe working environment
  • Cross-train on additional equipment to enhance versatility and team support

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in machine operation, preferably in chemical or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read and write English fluently, with strong basic math skills
  • Proficient in reading tape measures and following detailed work instructions
  • Basic reasoning skills to identify problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Reliable, with a solid work history in manufacturing

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with polyurethane foam or chemical processing
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to gas monitoring and chemical handling
  • Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing, with a focus on chemical or foam production
