The Resource is hiring a Power Control System Tester for our client, a global leader in the manufacture of transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, power control, load banks and surge devices, located in Lexington, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a starting pay rate of $21.79, with a 1st shift working schedule (8:00am-4:30pm). Responsibilities include working closely with the engineering department to test mechanical and electrical systems to exceed customer’s expectations. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
-Â Perform mechanical and electrical tests on products per controlled documentation
-Â Responsible for documentation of test data
-Â Insure electrical testing is done in a safe manner for themselves and coworkers
-Â Comply with company rules and regulations
-Â 2 year Electrical Degree or equivalent training is preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical manufacturing (essential)
-Â Must be highly motivated and willing to work with your hands
-Â Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus
-Â Must be able to follow blueprints and read electrical diagrams
-Â Ability to build from drawings and reverse engineering is a plus
-Â Working with high voltage
-Â Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
-Â Proficient in Microsoft Office
