Job Description
Role Overview:
Join our growing client as a Process Engineer to support and enhance their production processes. You'll play a key role in optimizing efficiency, quality, and training while ensuring alignment with company goals and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor job efficiencies, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Establish and document processing parameters for new molds and engineering changes.
- Oversee training for Process Technicians and supervise the Tooling Department.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to improve production and meet customer expectations.
- Sample new materials or molds and provide detailed reports.
- Communicate between shifts to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist in the implementation of new equipment, processes, and projects.
- Troubleshoot processing issues and communicate resolutions to relevant staff.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in your area of responsibility.
- Review KPIs, suggest improvements, and help reduce scrap and downtime.
- Support maintenance and purchasing with equipment recommendations.
- Technical school degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of plastic processes, machinery, and common production issues.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- R.J.G. Master Molding certification preferred.
