Our client, a national security printing company, is seeking a professional Product Manager to combine product planning and marketing to manage the entire life cycle of one or multiple projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Use knowledge of company capabilities and processes to provide quotes on products and update customer on order and account status when requested and notify of any changes, technical issues, or potential delays.
- Understand and utilize the ERP system to enter orders, check the status of existing orders, and run reports.
- Coordinate with Scheduling and Operations to be aware of order progress throughout the manufacturing process.
- Create documents such as letters, job jackets, BOMs, routings, etc., as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Seradex, S.A.P., MAPICS, MS Dynamics, etc.), Quality Management System software (e.g. Epicor, Synergy, Intelex, etc.), and MS Office
- Knowledge of the Manufacturing or Printing Industry desired.
