The Resource is hiring an Assembler for our client, a manufacturer in the wood and lumber industry, located in Lexington, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $16.42 per hour and has openings on 1st ( 6:45am to 5:15 pm) and 3rd shift schedule (8:00pm-6:30am, Monday -Thursday). Responsibilities include assembling furniture products using hand tools and power tools. Qualified candidates for this role should have previous experience in assembly or a production-oriented environment. Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs
- The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
- The ability to read measurements, work or calculate numbers, use handheld tools, including but not limited to handheld pallet jacks, pneumatic staple guns, industrial hot glue guns, and power drills
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in assembly or a production-oriented environment
