Production Lead – Food Manufacturing Plant 3rd Shift

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Shift: 9:45pm – 6:15am

Join our growing team as a Production Lead and play a key role in keeping our food manufacturing operations running smoothly. This hands-on position supports daily production on mixing, baking, packing, and machine lines while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

About the Role

As a Production Lead, you’ll assist the Supervisor in managing workflow, training team members, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards. You’ll help troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor product quality, and promote a safe, collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily production flow across mixing, baking, packing, and machine lines.
  • Train and guide team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety protocols.
  • Monitor product quality and report any issues promptly.
  • Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and documentation.
  • Foster teamwork and encourage safe work habits.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of food manufacturing experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • Leadership or trainer experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Fast-paced production floor with moderate noise and warm temperatures.
  • Collaborative team environment focused on safety and quality.
