Job Summary
The Production Machine Operator is responsible for operating production machinery in accordance with established specifications, work instructions, and shop orders. This role contributes directly to meeting production goals, maintaining product quality, and achieving on?time delivery commitments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with production specifications and work instructions
- Follow shop orders for cutting, packaging, and labeling products
- Produce the required quantity of parts/products while meeting established quality standards
- Accurately complete all required production and quality records
- Support and achieve on time delivery (OTD) goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and production guidelines
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate production machinery or willingness to learn
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, shop orders, and production drawings
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and team oriented
