We' re Actively seeking a Senior Production Planner for our client, a provider of a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufacturers around the globe, at their facility in Clemmons, NC! The Production Planner will be responsible for managing the production plans and schedules needed to meet customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will previous experience in a business environment, preferably aerospace, and experience in Planning, Scheduling, Material Management, and Procurement is a plus. - Manage production schedules and material requirements utilizing MRP/ERP and other production tools/reports to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements
- Ensure that the status of work in progress, equipment, materials, and services are communicated to the appropriate departments to include but not limited to Operations, Program Mgmt., and Leadership Team
- Responsible for communicating material shortages to Procurement and requesting updated delivery dates for all shortages impacting delivery dates
- Ensure production priorities are matched to customer requirements and communicates any customer deliveries to Program Management
- Interact with quality assurance, materials, manufacturing and engineering to ensure product movement meets delivery requirements
- Maintain current production status by developing and maintaining Production tracking reports
- Support timely introduction of new products and processes through proper scheduling tools
- Work in conjunction with Master Scheduler and ME s on Bill of Material or Operations issues
- Work closely with Master Scheduler to be back up on daily/weekly/monthly production priorities

- Four year degree in Business or a related field
- At least 5-years of experience in a business environment, preferably Aerospace
- Prior experience in Planning, Scheduling, Material Management, and Procurement is a plus
- Mathematical ability and good verbal and written communication skills
- Occasional travel may be required
- Contribute to the team by maintaining a positive outlook
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and PC skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Strong customer service skills
- MRP/ERP experience
- Professionalism in dealing with adverse or difficult situations
- Analytical, Critical thinking, and Problem solving skills, good decision making, and Independent judgment
