Job Description
The Resource is seeking a Production Planner to join a leading apparel manufacturing and sales & marketing firm in Winston-Salem, NC! Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production purchase orders for assigned brands, supporting sales and inventory goals.
- Manage production timelines with overseas manufacturing partners to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with the Forecast Team to anticipate market shifts, address production flow issues, and implement solutions.
- Work closely with the Sourcing Team to align manufacturing capabilities with company requirements.
- Coordinate with the Packaging Team to ensure factories follow proper packaging specifications for each order.
- Partner with the Distribution Center Team to manage incoming production, resolve quality issues, and optimize inventory.
- Maintain supply system accuracy and conduct regular data analysis & reporting to support planning strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field)
- 4-6 years of experience in production planning within the U.S. retail sector
- 5+ years managing Amazon production (preferred)
- Strong understanding of supply chain software and production management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet-based programs
- A self-starter with strong communication & organizational skills
