Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes following manufacturer and company guidelines
- Mount, balance, rotate, and install tires accurately and efficiently
- Perform basic tire repairs as needed
- Check and top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid, etc.)
- Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs and report findings to the Service Advisor or Manager
- Replace engine air filters and cabin air filters
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred (on-the-job training provided)
- Ability to safely operate shop equipment such as lifts, tire machines, and balancers
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous experience in an automotive or tire shop environment
- Experience with tire mounting and balancing
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules
