About the Role:
Join our team as a Purchasing Clerk, where you'll play a crucial role in managing our inventory and supply chain operations. This office-based position requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to monitor reports, analyze numbers, and ensure smooth inventory management across our multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring that goods are accurately logged and managed as they move in and out of the warehouse.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with both new and existing vendors. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure the best deals on the products we use regularly.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee inventory and supply levels at both our current location and our other facilities, ensuring that all sites are well-stocked.
- Shipment Tracking: Manage and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
- Report Analysis: Review and analyze reports to make informed decisions about purchasing and inventory management.
- Invoice Creation: Generate and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reports and data.
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or purchasing roles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
