We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Lexington, NC, on 1st shift and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Starting pay rate at $18.31 per hour.

- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of products using standard quality and measurement tools.
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to maintain product quality and reliability.
- Identify defects and malfunctions, and collaborate with Engineering and Management to implement improvements.
- Partner with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to enhance test and inspection methods and resolve assembly or process issues.
- Ensure all test and inspection documentation is accurately completed and approved for shipment.
- Set up, maintain, and calibrate test and inspection equipment.
- Perform quality inspection transactions in the JD Edwards system.
- Actively participate in weekly quality feedback meetings and the material review board.
- Adhere to Lean manufacturing methods and practices.
- Assist in training fellow employees and participate in ongoing training programs.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9000 standards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using metrology equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good computer skills, with experience in Windows applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with close tolerances.
- SPC (Statistical Process Control) knowledge is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent related experience.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance or a related field is required.
