Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector – Manufacturing

Location: Clemmons, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time 2nd Shift

About the Role

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Inspector and play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing quality standards for pool molding components and finished goods. This position focuses on quality control, inspection of injection-molded parts, and compliance with Acceptable Manufacturing Practices. You will perform manual and automated inspections, system audits, and maintain adherence to engineering specifications and quality assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on injection-molded components and assemblies.
  • Conduct first-piece, start-up, and full inspections for in-process and finished goods.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) for process evaluation and improvement.
  • Generate quality reports (Hold Tickets, NCMRs, Problem Slips) and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, molding, and assembly teams to enforce quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Bill of Materials (BOMs), blueprints, and QA instructions.
  • Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Two-year technical certificate OR
  • High School diploma/GED with 2–3 years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in dimensional measurement equipment and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with injection molding, manufacturing assembly, and quality control processes.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
  • Solid understanding of quality concepts, inspection techniques, and manufacturing standards. How to Apply:
