We' re seeking an Engineering Technician/Specialist for our client, a medical device manufacturing company located in Winston-Salem! The Engineering Specialist supports the research, development, and production of medical devices and works within an interdisciplinary team of engineers, specialist, and technicians, and with other functions, to advance the strategic goals of the company. This is a Contract opportunity that offers a competitive pay rate and a 1st shift working schedule. Responsibilities for this role include building prototype medical devices, testing these devices, and documenting outcomes. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Associate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related field is preferred.
- Must possess good reading and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good visual acuity and good manual dexterity.
- Must have the ability to learn and update skills needed to keep up to date on all projects assigned.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).
