We' re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our client, a source for premium tile products, at their state-of-the-art showroom and design center in Queens, NY! This is a permanent, Direct Hire position offering a competitive base salary PLUS uncapped commission, and an excellent benefits package. The working schedule will be 8: 00am-4: 00pm, and ideally candidates will reside in Brooklyn, Queens, or Nassau County, with no more than an hour commute. The Sales Manager will serve as a " right-hand person" to the company owner, assisting in growing the business beyond just tile, and into a full kitchen and bath showroom. The current client base is made up of 50% retail and 50% contractor, and candidates must have retail sales management experience, preferably showroom (home improvement, appliance, flooring, kitchen or bath). Responsibilities:
- Manage 3 direct reports
- Give direction to the sales staff, helping them meet their quotas
- Meet personal quotas as a selling sales manager
- Review CRMs of sales staff, discuss strategies and coach appropriately
- Review the average sales and coach the sales team on how to increase ticket sales (upsell)
- Review past clients and create promos to gain clients back
- Review and analyze sales reports and collaborate with the CEO
- Must have retail sales management experience
