Job Description
We're hiring an Industrial Sanitation Operator for our flavor manufacturing client in Greensboro! This Temp-to-Hire opportunity, that offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hours, and has a 1st shift schedule (7:00am-4:00pm). Employees must be available to work all required overtime (average 10 hours each week). The Sanitation Department has primary responsibility for the daily sanitation needs of both the facility and the equipment in the company's Liquid and Beverage Production Departments. The Sanitation Operator will be cleaning a large volume of equipment, utensils, and packing equipment, which requires someone very detail oriented, who can not only perform the required duties but also document the tasks in the mandated format. Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of the Company’s HACCP Training program and the Work Place Safety Programs
- Maintain the “Daily Cleaning Schedule” and "Equipment Cleaning Schedule" both by monitoring it for content as well as performing its duties as listed
- Inventory and maintain the cleaning supplies and tools according to the “Chemical Control Program”
- Successfully complete the HACCP, GMP, and Workplace Safety training within the first 90 days of assuming the position
- Serve as back up to the equipment sanitation operator, must be cross-trained in equipment sanitation
- Interact with the Cleaning Supplier to oversee the calibration records of the metering equipment on a quarterly basis, and represent the interests of the Company in the verification of calibration records
- Aid in the development and implementation of SSOPs for all equipment and to assist in the annual review process and revision of records
- Other tasks and duties as prescribed by the Sanitation Supervisor
- Must be very detail-oriented to perform a variety of cleaning tasks on different machines and equipment
