Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to prepare products for shipment and ensure accurate processing through computer-based shipping systems. This role plays a key part in warehouse operations, supporting accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery while working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team.
If you have experience in warehouse shipping, logistics, packing, and data entry, this is a great opportunity to grow with a stable organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with invoices, packing slips, or orders to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare items for shipment by packing, sealing, labeling, and affixing computer-generated shipping labels
  • Record shipment data including weight, charges, damages, discrepancies, or space availability for reporting and recordkeeping
  • Prepare shipping documentation such as shipping orders and routing paperwork
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates to meet delivery requirements
  • Deliver or route materials to designated departments using hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting systems
  • Perform light assembly tasks related to order preparation
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping and production goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly share information
  • Active listening skills to accurately follow instructions and respond to feedback
  • Critical thinking ability to identify issues and determine effective solutions
  • Solid reading comprehension for understanding shipping documents, labels, and instructions
  • Forklift Experience preferred but not required
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and shipping systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience is preferred but not required
