Job Description

We're now hiring  a Shipping/Receiving Packer for our client, a custom fabrication company located in the Lexington area! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a $16.00 per hour pay rate, and a 1st shift working schedule (7:00am-3:30pm). This role is responsible for efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of customer products. Candidates must have previous shipping/receiving experience and be forklift certified or willing to be certified. If you're interested in learning more, apply today!

Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify goods and supplies
- Prepare and process shipping documentation
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with other shipping and receiving tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Proficiency in basic math skills
- Valid forklift operator's license or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to read and interpret customer prints
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
