The Resource is hiring a Shipping Associate for our client, a manufacturer of sports equipment, located in Lexington, NC! This is  a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and has a 1st shift schedule (7:00am-3:45pm). The Shipping Associate would be responsible for packing orders that are ready to be shipped out and well as assisting with receiving. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.  Ideal candidates for this role should have previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities: 
- Review, verify, and process customer orders accurately, ensuring product availability and correct quantities
- Securely pack products using appropriate materials, preventing damage during transit, and ensuring items are well-protected
- Attach accurate shipping labels, tracking numbers, and necessary documents for each package, maintaining organized records
-  Maintain up-to-date inventory records, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and report any discrepancies promptly
Coordinate with carriers, communicate with other departments, and address customer inquiries to ensure efficient and timely shipping operations
