We are currently searching for a Staffing Coordinator for our Home Health Care client in Winston-Salem, NC! This individual will be responsible for making assignments for staff according to their schedule needs, maintaining admission and discharge logs, entering data into computer system, communicating with care managers and staff related to patients condition, and assisting in payroll processing. The pay rate for this potentially Temp-to-hire position is $11.50 per hour, working full-time, 8-hour shifts (between the hours of 8: 00am 6: 00pm). Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required, and candidates must have excellent communication problem solving skills. - Assigns appropriate disciplines to those patients who need services
- Contacts patients to set expectations of home health services and collect co-pay as applicable
- Provides a copy of patient demographics, care plan and other needed information to the assigned home health aides
- Keeps Patient Care Managers informed of reported changes in patient s condition or staffing shortages
- Makes assignments promptly
- Maintains list of clinicians under the associated personnel as the staff is assigned
- Documents communication with physicians, patients, family and staff members in the electronic record
- Ensures confidentiality of patient care information and documentation
- Enters data accurately into computer
- Maintains current employee schedules and keeps current data in computer
- Demonstrates ability to manage computer system and maximizes use of its capabilities
- Utilizes office automation equipment to increase efficiency in the office
- Responds to incoming calls in a customer-friendly manner within 3 rings
- Recognizes and responds to department needs appropriately
- Assists with other agency assignments when identified, completing projects efficiently and effectively as requested, and in a willing manner

- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of clerical, staffing, outpatient scheduling, doctor office or home health experience is required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to communicate both verbally for telephone and in person interaction and in writing
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Solid ability to learn new technologies and the technical aptitude to understand flow of data through systems and system interaction
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and testing
- Comfortable in a work environment that may be stressful at times, as overall work levels fluctuate
- May require travel to various locations
