We' re seeking a Stop Loss Coordinator for our client, an integrated benefits solutions company, located in Winston-Salem! This is a temporary position that will last approximately 3 months, filling in for another employee, with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour and an 8: 00am-5: 00pm schedule. Candidates must be able to begin training immediately, in preparation for beginning the assignment, and the ideal candidate will have an aptitude for math, Microsoft Excel, and critical thinking skills. The Stop Loss Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Stop-Loss department with all aspects of business, including new and renewal business activities, claims processing and customer support, and previous claims experience is a bonus. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process stop loss claim filings and notices
- Prepare Explanation of Benefit cover letters and other correspondence as needed
- Review and monitor claims activity, ensuring all claims are filed timely
- Identify large claim notifications and filings for potential case management support, as well as administering large claims
- Communicate with account contacts to obtain documentation for day to day business activities
- Respond timely and accurately to customer inquiries
- Organize and coordinate RFP information received for new business proposals
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2-years of experience in Stop Loss is desired, or complex medical claims processing
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and codes
- Familiarity with Medicare RBRVS fee schedule, Medicare DRG Pricer schedule, Medicaid APDRG schedule and/or UB Revenue Codes is strongly desired
- Effective organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage workloads to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality, and working in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated technical ability to work with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
