The Resource is hiring a skilled Structural Project Manager for our client, a provider of professional engineering services, with locations in MD, CA, TX, and FL. This is a permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $100,000-$130,000 (depending on location and experience). The role involves working on a diverse range of project types and materials, with a particular emphasis on prefabrication and construction engineering. This position requires close collaboration with builders, so excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Engineering (PE) and/or Structural Engineering (SE) license, with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience. Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise in structural engineering
- Collaborate closely with builders and project teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Utilize your experience in prefabrication and construction engineering to drive innovation
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of various project types and materials
- Maintain organized records and communicate effectively within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Minimum); Master's Degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) and/or Structural Engineering (SE) license required
- 7+ years of experience in structural engineering; 10+ years preferred
- Experience in a variety of project types and materials
- Familiarity with prefabrication and construction engineering methods (a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with builders
- Highly organized and productive, with a passion for industry improvement
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Tekla Structures software (beneficial but not required).
Salary Range:
- Florida: $100,000 - $110,000
- DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia): $110,000 - $120,000
- California: $120,000 - $130,000
