Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, aligning with our strategy to enhance on-time delivery, optimize lead times, and drive process efficiencies. This role involves up to 15-20% travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Supply Chain function, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
  • Implement Lean and Daily Management practices in line with Operations & Supply Chain policies to meet organizational goals.
  • Oversee upstream and downstream supply chain design, execution, and performance, collaborating with the Regional Supply Chain Manager to standardize processes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing the full product delivery cycle, from order placement to dispatch.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem resolution to maintain high On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with the Sourcing strategy and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular supplier order book reviews, identifying risks and collaborating with global sourcing for resolution.
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy in inventory value, levels, and transactions.
  • Approve supply chain design and system parameters to optimize inventory and meet targets.
  • Oversee warehouse processes, focusing on material flow and stocktaking policies to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning (SiOP) process, leading capacity planning and master scheduling.
  • Apply Lean tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen, and SMED to analyze data, implement countermeasures, and train the team.
  • Accountable for all supply chain metrics, including Customer OTD, Inventory accuracy, and cost management.
  • Manage department costs, including labor, overheads, and freight, ensuring alignment with the MPS and budget.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, fostering growth and career development.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing supply chain management and Lean methodology.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • APICS certification preferred.
