Job Description
We are assisting our client in their search for an experienced Technical Writer to join their team in Greensboro, NC! This is a 1-2 month Temporary assignment, fully in-office due to the nature of the work. If you have a strong background in SOP Development, Process Documentation, and Training Support, particularly in prepress, printing, or related industries, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for prepress workflows.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to document technical details, software operations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in SOP formatting, adhering to organizational standards.
- Create user-friendly guides for prepress software, including detailed instructions and best practices.
- Update SOPs regularly to reflect process improvements and software changes.
- Partner with prepress teams, software developers, and quality assurance to ensure accurate and relevant documentation.
- Assist in creating training materials to support team onboarding and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in prepress, printing, or similar industries.
- Expertise in SOP development and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with documenting software-based procedures and creating user manuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and related tools for structured document creation.
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
