We' re seeking a Telecom Business Development/ Inside Sales Rep for a permanent position with our client, a telecom distribution, installation and engineering company located in Winston-Salem! This position has an 8: 00am-5: 00pm working schedule and offers a competitive salary. This role is responsible for engaging prospective customers via outbound phone calls and digital marketing, and assessing their potential for buying key OEM s products. Duties will include day to day selling activities and generating reports regarding proactive engagement with customers, and prospects, who are not currently engaged with OEM. The ideal candidate will have previous Sales experience, and tele prospecting and presentation skills. - Develop and expand our digital and social engagement with prospects and customers not currently purchasing Market Maker OEM
- Advancing sales through the program waterfall resulting in a Sales Accepted Lead (SAL)
- Follow up on lead lists, make sales phone calls, write emails, etc. To build and advance the sales funnel of customer interest and propensity to buy
- Business Development efforts within a Market Maker Program for a designated OEM that meets or exceeds daily, monthly, quarterly, annual objectives
- Execute and provide continuous feedback regarding Go-to-Market strategy by vertical markets and OEM solution sets, based upon market trends and program feedback/results collected from tools and phone engagements
- Develop and maintain proficiency and key relationships in the vertical market(s) including participation on regional and national groups and committees
- Fluently communicate with prospects regarding a specific OEM solution and align the engagements leveraging all print and digital collateral as well as create and execute call scripts
- Maintain solution proficiency for their OEM and deliver value propositions and probing/qualifying questions specific to vertical markets and OEM solution
- Assist in the recruiting and ongoing development of other inside representatives on the Market Maker team to increase penetration into markets
- Execute digital and social campaign using designated tools
- Demonstrate the willingness to learn the technology, the markets, sales techniques and strategies
- Create reports weekly on progress of program and correlate results of team to sales activity, plans to ensure program objectives met or exceeded

- Sales experience is recommended
- Five years experience in the telecommunications industry, ideally in optical marketing is preferred.
- Experience with Eloqua Marketing tool is preferred
- Able to bring together both internal and external partner resources to close a deal
- Desire to have a career in the telecommunications sales industry
- Familiarity with telecommunications technology is an advantage
- Tele prospecting, promotional email writing, and Presentation skills required
