We're now hiring a Wire Assembler for our client, a metal fabrication company, located in Welcome, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, and has a 3rd shift working schedule (10:30pm- 7:00am). This position will perform a variety of mechanical assembly tasks of component parts, following standard procedures, instructions, and/or drawings. Candidates must be able to use several types of hand tools, pneumatic tools, gauges and fixtures. If you have assembly experience and ready to take the next step in your career, apply today! 

Responsibilities:
- Apply wire harnesses to product
 -Remove and add accessory wiring per the wiring diagram and wire run list
- Communicate problems with the wiring diagram, outline drawing and/or product with supervision and Engineering
- Inspect work by lamping out wires added
- Ensure quality of connections and document all work produced
- Ensure all tools being used are properly calibrated
- Follow standard procedures for wiring, and comply with company rules and regulations
- Operate equipment/tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate in monthly quality feedback meetings
- Willing and able to work in accordance with Lean methods and practices
- Willing to participate in continual training

Requirements:
- Understand proper crimping and stripping methods
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, wire run lists, bills of material and shop orders
- Must have good communication skills
- PC Windows knowledge is preferred
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience is preferred
